About

After training in Zurich as a Jungian Analyst, I joined the Independent Group of Analytical Psychologists in London. I am registered as a Jungian Analyst with the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy and the International Association for Analytical Psychology.

I am also Somatic Experience Practitioner and have assisted with trainings in Edinburgh and USA.

My work is also deeply influenced by the work of Marion Woodman and I have completed the BodySoul Rhythms® Leadership training of the Marion Woodman Foundation. I have assisted at several BodySoul and BodyDreaming workshops inspired by BodySoul Rhythms® in UK and Greece.

I hail from South Africa, where  I trained and worked as a midwife and Nurse. For many years I worked in end of life care, which I regard as a great privilege. During this work, I became deeply aware of the thirst for soul in many people. This lead me to gain a Masters Degree in Classical Spirituality and a post graduate Diploma in Spiritual Guidance in Dublin, Ireland.

My passion is to explore creative ways to support healing and wholeness in the life of an individual through the wisdom of the psyche and body.

I work with narrative, dreams and the body in order gently release what has been held in the body and is impeding the flow of life in an individual, to facilitate the soul, body and nervous system to return to ease, organic wisdom and vitality.

I have a private practice in York, UK and also work online.

I offer short and long term Psychotherapy or Jungian analysis, which opens up the possibility to work on your life story, with dreams and awareness of the body. The process is tailored to your particular need and I also offer Somatic Experience Trauma Therapy. In my experience an integrative approach can sometimes be the most effective way of working.

I am available for Spiritual Direction and short individual retreats.

“For what is the body? The body is merely
the visibility of the Soul, the psyche; and
the soul is the psychological experience
of the body. So it is really one and the same thing.”

Notes of the Seminar given in 1934-1939 by C G Jung, Vol.1, p.355)
